What is Aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy is the therapeutic use of plant-derived essential oils to promote physical and psychological well-being.

Each essential oil is carefully selected for its medicinal properties. As the oils are absorbed into the bloodstream, through application to the skin or inhalation, their active constituents trigger certain pharmacological effects, for instance pain relief, muscle relaxation, and reduced inflammation.

Some common medicinal properties of essential oils used in aromatherapy include: analgesic, antimicrobial, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, astringent, sedative, antispasmodic, expectorant, diuretic, and sedative.

Essential oils are used to treat a wide range of symptoms and conditions, including, but not limited to, gastrointestinal discomfort, skin conditions, menstrual pain and irregularities, stress-related conditions, mood disorders, circulatory problems, respiratory infections and wounds.

As part of his holistic treatment approach, Richard integrates therapeutic grade essential oils into his massage sessions in two ways: through topical application and Raindrop Technique.

What is Raindrop Technique?
The Raindrop Technique is a method of using Vita Flex, reflexology, and massage techniques to apply essential oils on various locations of the body to bring it into structural and electrical alignment. It will help align and balance the energy centers of the body and release them if blocked.

What is an essential oil?
It is really the essence of the plant, essential oils are the volatile liquids distilled from the plants (including their respective parts such as seeds, bark, leaves, stems, roots, flowers, fruit etc.)

Richard uses pure, unadulterated, essential oils and essential oil blends. They qualify as “therapeutic grade”, which means that health professionals choose them for promoting health and wellness
